Will Harcourt wins the ENVRI Video Competition!
Congratulations to our PhD student, Will Harcourt, who recently won the 2021 ENVRI User Story Video Competition! His video celebrates his recent fieldwork in Svalbard, where he deployed our AVTIS2 94 GHz radar to measure calving processes at the Hansbreen tidewater glacier. This was the first time millimetre-wave radar had been used to map a glacier calving front and is another great example of the unique capabilities offered by these radar frequencies.
