Many congratulations to Yujie Zhao for submitting her PhD thesis on schedule at the beginning of November 2023.  The thesis describes new instrumentation and new methodology in both coherent and incoherent pulsed DNP (Dynamic Nuclear Polarisation)  as well as pulsed ENDOR (Electron Nuclear DOuble Resonance) using chirped and shaped microwave pulses at 94 GHz.  These are techniques that give atomic scale structural information on biomolecules and catalysts.   Many of the results represent state-of-the-art performance in terms of improved sensitivity.
